Hey! I am iora and I play as one of the last Allays! My character has been through A LOT, having lived on 5 planets. I originate from a calm planet, BUT, I can't say about it for a bit.
The second planet, a lot happened to me, but it wasn't very traumatising until the end. I got to experience being a judge and being a queen! The others saw me as a leader, someone to make the final decisions. I don't like responsibilty, so of course we decided to hold an election (eventually) to pass that on.
I guess, I should start from the start of Season 2... BUT, before we begin, I should say, I am writing this in the state of myself in Season 4 Chapter 3.
Season 2 β
It was fun, I brought rituals over, I pursuaded others to build a town. We socialised and kept our distance. We didn't work together often. I claimed a cave, a bunch of other Allays followed me and we worked together to become the strongest group. Overtime, those Allays disappeared. There was a Cat, I haven't seen him for awhile now.
Eventually, I decided to move away from our landing point. I eventually became a queen, stronger and faster then the other Allays. Together we are stronger. I ended up moving over 10k blocks away, making my own island.
We managed to get magic, guns and Alchol for a short while. It was chaos! Atom ran the tavern, a lot of time was spent in there.
A court eventually appeared out of nowhere! We did so many cases! I managed to be the judge for most of them since I was the highest official. Can't really get much higher then a queen.
Alas, all good things must come to an end. Reality destroyed our homes, our treasured builds. We had to leave. At least, thank the gods, there was a boat and a portal ready... I like to believe that they gave us a second chance. One can hope. He caused meteor strikes, sinkholes. It was disasterous...
I miss that planet, it was my favourite.
Season 3 β
It was intense from the start. We had boared a boat, sailing into a portal thing, travelling in an unknown place. It felt weird but we had to protect our ship, protect eachother. We mostly talked, theorised on our destination. We didn't know a crash was in store for us. I wasn't an Allay. I was a chicken in the begining. It was hard, I stuck close to our crash site. The crash site, it was bad. I ended up creating a small community area, for everyone to be able to survive. I tried to get a new town going, no one got motivated enough. It was disheartening.
At some point during this, I managed to become a Tadpole, I don't remember when. Atom became a goat, he did science, he always liked technology.
I don't know why, but, some of us decided to climb the portal, see what was at the top and stuff. Thats when we got to experience something... slightly different to normal. We talked to Gods. We didn't know who they where or why they where. I liked interacting with them, it felt right at the time.
There was three memorable Gods; Stan, Water god and Orange god. We wasn't sure on the names for two of them. Orange god was nice, they kept us happy and agreed that if we had a battle with Stan that they would help us. Not many of us liked Stan; we kept challenging him to fights but he was too much of a coward.
The water god... I killed them. That's what everyone believed at the time.
I devoted myself to the ocean, keeping it safe.
The portal glitched. We was confused, we thought we'd be safe if we moved away from it. We was wrong. The portal had started letting off some type of radiation, it was painful. The gods had abandoned us. We managed to get some information from the computer that was attached to the portal, it told us to head west. We did. We traveled most of the west border, splitting up to find why.
There was a plane. We decided to name it "The Plane". We had to do tasks, honestly, whilst on this island, we felt closest to a community then we have in a LONG time, and by long, I mean the last time I felt that way was in Season 1. It was nice and fun, it was relaxing and felt right.
We decided to travel east, see if there was something else. There was. It was a God island. I was asigned to be the communicator... they would only talk to me. It was weird. We ended up ignoring them for the most part. That was until we stole "Billy".
We had to gather resources to build a ship, not a boat, a SpaceShip, I got to return to the stars. It was named the "Astralith". We packed it up and left, there's no point in going through all the details, it's mostly meaningless. There was also some random thing called "living water" but I didn't pay much attention to it at the time.
I got to show some Allay magic just before we left, I showed them how creative we can be.
Eventually we left, we set to the stars. We had multiple ships. It was stressful. Luckily I wasn't Captain. We picked up new people, one of them, Fiery, took charge quickly. At one point "The Plane" ended up getting destroyed, we lost Atom to a blackhole and the "SeaSkipper" left us.
A lot of people fell when we was in Space, this was way to confusing. We didn't have our abilities. The Keeper says it was because of the atmosphere and how the gods couldn't see us. I ended up falling as well at one point. Luckily "FLAI" saved me. Or rather, I think it was them... We managed to rescue everyone, we traded "Billy" to "patriot" who was possessed at the time.
We was too close to the blackhole, we had to abandon the "Astralith". We was scattered on a new planet.
Season 4 β
This season was chaotic, to the point theres multiple chapters.
Chapter 1 β
For most of this experience, we tried to find the Astralith, via any means neccesery. It was hard going, but we eventually did it. We ended up digging out a tunnel together, it is massive. It took us a long time but it was worth it. Too bad I can't see it anymore.
It was quiet for awhile... well- at least until the Astralith managed to pick up a signal somehow, it was bizare. By this point I had managed to assemble a tent, added a Mission Control into it and threw a few crystals in to add an extra affect.
I also added a teleporter and here's how. My teleporters are classed as Allay Tech, completly different to how anyone else handles it. I personally use Echo Shards and Amethyst Crystals. As an Allay, we have a constant outer energy, this means that we can use some of that energy to power some things. I figured out, considering how Shards and Crystals can boost an Allay allies and the host Allay themself that you can harness this energy by overwhelming your physical body and recasting the extra to a defined location, typically having the excess Shards and Crystals floating around as they continue to leak energy creating an energy loop. From my time with The Keeper and The Gods , they can't do this. The art of this specific teleportation is a theory I've been working on since Season 1. They use beacons as a power boost. The issue with this is that anything using beacons has a limited range, they can traverse dimensions that are sitting on the same plane range at the max. Not every Allay and Vex has been successful. Their sacrifices have not been in vain.
Chapter 2 β
Awhile ago I was reunited with FireTruck... Resonare. FireTruck is a loyal companion, leader of armies. My best friend. He keeps me sane and helps me stay together. I last longer because of our bond.
The others eventually decided to follow the signal, leaving me and Atom behind. We was confused, but I knew I needed to get to them. Who knows what chaos might occur without the comedic relief around. I knew I had to push the teleporter concept to a new limit. Echo Shards. Fallen Vexes. So far gone with corruption that the shards are overwhelmed from the fallen soul energy of a being. I knew, I could rework these to get me to go further, I could fall ill from this. They have fallen energy, I have pure. I needed to find my friends. All cards on the table. Resonare please guide me.
I had made it... I didn't want them to know this... they overreact. The voices say to trust them. I will, I always trust, it's the right thing to do. They was confused, I showed Neptune, only Neptune at the time. Did she betray my trust?
I had forgot a lot at the time, well- except my lessons that Reality gave me. But that doesn't matter, what matters is what happens after my memories returned.
Wallow leant me some of his energy, we are to work together, thank Resonare that I no longer have to keep him being alive secret. The others don't know how close to gods we truly are.
I have been used as an achor for all of my life. It is a normal thing for me. It's why I became a queen. It's why I always know whats going on. I wasn't always an Allay. FireTruck wasn't always a god.
I eventually told others about Wallow, they seemed chill about it.
I made a computer, we did some borrowing, we made a ship, we left.
I lost my body. It finally grew too old. Typically, an Allay of my caliber has to switch to a new body every 3 months. Mine lasted 4 years. Allays... our energy is so PURE that they consume the body that we are in, they don't last, the stronger of an Allay you are... the less the body lasts. I thought I was weak at first. Despite this, every new body that is absorbed, it adds more energy, it makes you stronger as more bodies are collected.
The gods did a Phasmo event on the others with me as a waypoint, I swear they are more childish then me. They might have ADHD.
The keeper quickly took me away, told FireTruck how to find me. I will be found soon.
End β
That was fun to write! Time to explain about iora as an Allay! - The Keeper
The Allay Mob in Animalium is a physical soul, the stronger the outer glow, the stronger they are. Allays grow with experience. Considering how iora had prior experiences of life before she became an Allay and was already associated with a god. She was naturally stronger, able to grow quicker. When she became an Allay, she had to leave her home and old friends behind, some current people, seeming familiar to her but she knows they aren't all the same. Even prior to being an Allay, she messed around with Gods and magic theory. This magic theory eventually becoming Allay Magic.
Allay Magic in itself is crystals, energy, souls and flight. Seems simple but once they bounce against each other, things can go wrong easily. She has always known that she will never permenantly die. Her home world having the typical "three life" rule but it rarely being applied, herself only ever ending up on 2 lives before she turned.
When iora got to associate with others as an Allay, she already had higher natural energy so was naturally percieved as a leader despite everything she had going on at once. Allays are pure, perfering to be open and honest. She knows if she steps too far, she will turn into a Vex, a fallen Allay. Her experiences alone are the main reason why her perefered body lasted so long. Who knows, maybe it will get restored.
