Known traits and abilities β
- Recovery: Fiery has a seperate method of coming back, not quite immortality but as long as a piece of himself remains. The rest isn't an issue to be regenerated back. So nothing is considered permanent damage unless the entire body goes.
This comes at the cost as much of his regeneration causes him to get often dizzy but this is often covered up by him slowing down to analyze something as an excuse for what he is feeling.
- Forsight: If theres remnants of mositure in the air and/or surrounding area Fiery can hear whispers but never enough to fully piece together what happened there and what memories were left behind.
Sometimes even piece together what will happen next if it puts him or anyone else in danger.
- Fast paced diagnostics: Despite stressful environments, chaos is Fiery's calm even if the odds are stacked against them.
This includes machinary construction and designing, trouble shooting and human/animal treatment incase of fatal injury or worse. So if something needs to be done he will do it, especially if it involves saving another individual(s) life no the matter the odds.
Psychological traits β
Personality: Tries to fit in and let others feel welcome and valued not only among a team but as a family. Making sure everyone has their fair share in progression and the glory while being able to shine in their own way individually.
Potential Faults: Pushes for human safety to at times grave extents not always considering for the mission is success. This even comes as far as in attempts to treating injuries of their allies, Fiery doesn't accept his own failures as dead ends even though if fate thinks otherwise. This only makes him more determined to so called "rewrite fate" against an author is best wishes.
Interpersonal relationships: Generally well-liked among a crowd. Maintains a professional demeanor and behavior pattern despite lacking some sense of humor but is capable of forming deep and personal bonds with select individuals. Even if it means they are more secretive.
Mental Struggles: Has a hard time grasping magic and the loss of others by fighting against odds trying to take matters into their own hands. In addition to the matter, the accident shows no signs of possession but it cannot be ignored that all previous attempts of possession; Fiery has encountered have proven unsuccessful.

Decided I should put somethings here in the database, I am given enough storage from the Rubicon Research Instuite afterall and sometimes it might be safer on digital instead of this old high school note book right? Best to make use of it.
Not much has changed really after I joined, I guess I can't upload what I have written before so I guess I should introduce myself.
The name is Fiery, atleast that's what I go by-
I am really just talking to myself huh aren't I? It's alright- just treat it like an interview, except this is written I guess.
But yah let's get the ball rolling.
As a brief introduction I am the author of this diary?
So greetings and hope you have been having an excellent day so far! If your not having a good day though I do hope it gets better soon, never feel afraid to say something. We are all here to learn and raise the spirits so to say of others.
Together as Rubiconians we are the building blocks of eachother is success and brighter future for all of us.
Anyways, the research instuite right. Were an isolated facility from the rest of Rubicon, not a government operated group but just an organization that delves into advanced medication and biological adaption.
As the saying goes around here "we are the ones to give a helping hand for those who cannot protect themselves" and really wasn't expecting Neda to offer me this chance.
She also is my ex-professor and the lead resarcher I am working under, our work mostly involves a substance called coral.
It has been a delight to work with up close though despite leaving my parents to do this, they understood what was at stake with being apart of something more. Just wish I can go visit them some day when they haven't seen their only child in a while. It can be sickening.
But yes, a lot of the medicine we use today is just chemicals but not coral.
Instead it's living matter capable of regeneration as far as the curing of wounds and organs, I can't wait to show the world what we have in store for them. Very similar to bacteria and other micro organisms we have in our body, but it adapts to the organic substance it binds to.
Were still trying to see if it can work with metals but for now it works for composite materials and animal counter parts, only recently it has been trialed with humans but still needs some work as the results are still not "ideal" at best.

Deeply sorry for neglecting to write anything here, it's just been so busy but finally got sometime again.
So yah I kind already wrote this in the note book version already so, sorry I got carried away?
But heres the run down.
A lot has changed.
I decided to bring the veil I found all those days ago back in the other day, I had it in storage for a while but since the entire lab focus was less on Ayre now, and instead more with Ayre.
Yes, Ayre is researching with us. I must admit she is a quick learner. We never really realized if she needs to eat but it according to them, she only needs to replenish her form with fluid based substances and is good enough just like how food for us restores our stamina.
And for some clarity, that massive tank in the middle with the four energy stablizers aimed at it ready to fire at any second? Yah that was Ayre, in that tank.
She is fully made from coral infused water, like purely only that. Honestly got no clue how the other researchers got it to be sentient of all things but I am not complaining. Like normal particle reaction though, Ayre is extremely votile to temperature differences.
Yes, she can switch between just plain fluid and her more "physical" form but if at anytime it gets to cold it will just cause her to completely collapse and well into a puddle of water which is definitely not something we want.
As the days go by I really started feeling like a brother to Ayre with each passing day was like seeing her grow up more and more. Never had a sister or a brother even so this was like an extension of a family in a way, maybe some day I can show mom and dad but for now I was just glad she was getting less time in the tank and more time with us.
However, it was odd when Neda brought in some trains and clay building blocks for Ayre to interact with.
The clay especially was unique where it almost seemed to bind with Ayreβs form. She didnβt get hurt but it didnβt feel right either, just something that didnβt belong so she took it out from her form once she was done understanding it.
We also found a way to make her something that could make her feel less cold, as we very much noticed when observing Ayre is first moments out of the tank was just freezing until the temperature was adjusted so at her station she had a small heater.
Almost like the opposite of a desk fan so she could stay warm and not freeze to death with the added benefit of us not sweating time to time due to the humidity controls.
This has to be the best day in my life so far! Everyone in the lab is having a great time, as if we hit a massive breakthrough and in fairness, I guess we did. We were so blinded by focusing on our research and we completely ignored if Ayre was the solution this entire time.
Beyond that she was telepathic so if anything had moisture in it she could interact with it from a distance. It was a short distance but it did work.
Ayre would totally win a water gun fight. Just depends on if she needs the gun to begin with.
But jokes aside, itβs also kind of convenient funny enough since if we spill something she can almost stop the spill in its tracks and absorb it back.
Talk about quite the super power, wish some of us had that before we spilled a drink on our homework back in school.

>_ Loading entree 2 Part 2Fiery found himself taken a back against the side of a massive vessal just after having come face to face with a humanoid fox to the size of a human but seemed friendly.
Unknown to him it was clear it would probably be best to investigate while trying to keep an eye on the fox so he doesn't become their next meal.
Once they were both inside they were reasonably surprised by the lack of security. It seemed even the fox he had accompanied was as confused as he was.
He wasn't sure if the fox could talk a few moments before the fox put their hand over Fiery mouth to make sure he didn't say anything. So if anything was clear, they could understand him at the very least.
They both decided to continue ahead by being as silent as possible but silence was the least of their worry.
Seems like majority of the crew were busy with sand castle like structures and talking about fascinating topics.
Fiery signaled to the fox to grab a suit while Fiery did the same so they could fit in a little more easily.
As they finished suiting up the fox showed Fiery his name card displaying "my name is Fishcute" with a "W" like logo next to it, Fiery gave a light smile so he atleast knew what to call his new friend despite not knowing them from before totally... let's just hope that other universe doesn't find out about this one.
As the days went by nothing really changed. The disguises using the suits worked with Fish and Fiery causing minimal levels of suspicion despite literally being picked up from outer space under the cover story that they were just "floating" there which to some extent was true.
Fiery had found a little over chaotic at times but he managed, the lady by the name of Iora was usually great at getting the attention of the others while the gentlemen known as Zock and Fly were able to introduce him around the ship known as the Astralith and what their current goals were.
Laughs were shared and some card games were played, it was a great time all around with Fish increasingly building up his chair after each passing round. Even Fly pitching in some resources to build it up out of nuclear shell plating as the lead nuclear engineer.
Fish took on the role of the main maintaince engineer and mechanic as Fiery was given the role of captain which was way out of his comfort zone but he wanted to make sure there was a positive impact made in the endevour of finding a new home.
The ship's AI named FlAI was very kind and can be said for majority if not all the crew as a goal. They weren't just a crew, they were like a family so it was only right to give them they deserved. Some form of happy ending despite their griefing loss of Atom being their former captain. Despite all this Fiery never got to meet but had received the clashing stories among the crew and unfortuntely the number of crew members going missing.
Fiery wanted to make promises he could keep or at the very least to the best of his abilities. One of these was to send a small rescue team with Krul and Snail, a member from both ship is crew list.
The second ship they had named the Seaskipper and was under leadership of Zock that unfortuntely had been doomed to the "fall" as some referred to it as but the ship was still operational with FlAI overriding some of the access privilages.
The plan was to send Krul and Snail to the last known location of another member of the crew named Penguin to atleast get some info to what happened on that scout mission to the originally charted course to Glacium. As the name suggests, is an ice giant planet.
After several hiccups and a murder attempt or two... the crew was back together. After an exchange, the deal despite seeming difficult at first was clear that went as follows.
The Seaskipper returned but the same cannot be said for Krul nor Snail. Penguin was the only one remaining, Iora being the co-captain at the time bravely proceeded to comfront them while Fiery was in stasis. Soon after, Fiery had pushed the ship into full lockdown before the deal could be made. If we wanted our crew, our family back. We had to hand over the "god object" in exchange they will be returned, all except Atom unfortunately.
It was clear we weren't dealing with Penguin anymore but rather the husk or possessed varient. This only led to flashbacks Fiery had from his past but never enough to piece together the whole puzzle as the tablet he had was lacking permission to access any of the previous documents.
After coming back to his senses Fiery said if the deal could be improved as the fuel shortage Iora brought up was a grave threat. The Astralith was a sitting duck and would be in danger to another alien encounter, meteors or worse.
The possessed Penguin was silent only staring into the fusion reactor casing, it wasn't until FlAI had given us the alert that the fuel level was increasing rapidly from thin air.
Fiery couldn't understand it but super natural forces weren't things to be ever fully understood, the deal was made and the crew was returned to them.
With the "god object" returned after it was completed, Fiery and Iora were given a warning however. They may likely be followed by other forces and how there weren't many planets left.
They were both thankful for the warning with much of the crew working around the clock to achieve the unthinkable.
Zock, Dirt and Fly put im every ounce of effort they could in calibrating the engines and building a larger scale radar dish onto the astralith.
Fiery was preparing the ship for a sling shot maneuver utilizing the black hole is gravity. Was it insane? Without a doubt, but they didn't have much to lose. It was either take this chance or the black hole would take every planet in the system with it.
As the final preparations were made and everyone getting enough rest a third ship came into view. This one however wasn't alien nor was it one any of the crew recongnized. Dirt and Fly both suggested that it should be investigated while FlAI attempted a communication link to the unknown vessal.
Apparently it wasn't unknown at all, it was a former member of their group named Cathy. However, in critical condition. They were swifly brought to the medical bay as Shiny, Fiery and Zock tended to Cathy's wounds. Most of which wasn't recoverable, not without months of treatment and recovery.
They did not have months so Zock developed a exo-skeleton suit for Cathy to move around. It had limitations but it got the job done, everybody was extremely thankful. Cathy required a book to communicate in which Iora moved in quick haste to provide.
As the days went by, many of the crew were in stasis on the day of the trip. Cathy was left in the captains room that was repurposed as a care taking room for anyone that wasn't feeling well. Fiery thought it was better then him having it, they needed the comfort and just space in general more then a captain ever would.
The sling shot process began with a grave beginning, Fish thankfully had prepared an escape ship in preparation of these circumstances. As the Astralith engines failed and Fish is ship soon to falling to the gravitational pull of the black hole nothing more then failure could be thought of.
After waking up Fiery and many others met up to realize everyone was alright. On solid ground, soil and nature surrounding them. A new planet.
FlAI's final logs were recovered in orbit with the Astralith later as well after weeks and months of searching. FlAI had performed a last honorable act with the Astralith luanching escape pods, with all the crew accounted for. Fiery wasn't expecting this but came to agreement with Fish that the Astralith would be restored to as much as possible to pay respects to FlAI is noble deeds.
Even to this day it is being repaired with others pitching in countless hours.
FlAI thank you for everything. - F.R.

Upon completion of the ship and it's cargo/room sections. However it became clear that despite the many preparations and countless raids on Management outposts and facilities that the resources upon ship weren't enough to get back home.
Thanks to Atom is inside information within Management despite his loyality to them; the Starbreaker crew was well equip with a dark matter reactor but this alone wasn't enough for our return.
The crew required a power source. But one unlike many had ever seen. There were many ideas and proposels made around in the meeting but one came to mind that many of us were deeply afraid of.
At first glance a ritual may not seem to bad.
This was no ordinary ritual.
To put it lightly, Shiny, Iora, Skue and Fiery had been taken in a non-physical yet near frictionless from that of reality.

It was a blur, nothing made sense.
The four of us were taken a back from this trip.
Skue experienced the least of the impact as they only ever saw the wreckage of the very vessal we found ourselves upon with admiration and horrific shock. We had been placed upon the Astralith.
We found ourselves upon our original vessal but something wasn't right. As if we were technologically brought back in time, but it wasn't technology. This time it was magic.
Just as if it was out of a fairy tale, yet it didn't stop itself there. Despite the warm memories we had onboard and broken promises, we had a job to do.
The ritual had been an art. A god's speciality and a spell placed on us to ensure we saw what we were meant to see.
Unfortunately, we weren't given the name of said individual onboard till much later but it became clear. This wasn't "our" vessal; instead the captain was different and the crew was no where to be seen...
Regardless we pushed forward to find that the captain and only crew member onboard this version of the Astralith was preparing a new power source. Iora and Fiery took special note of the materials with Skue taking inventory details of what resources were marked as high priority while Shiny scouted the ship of anything we might have missed and ensure we haven't been followed.
It was as if we had been walking within a dream- no, it couldn't be a dream it was something worse.
The ship had encountered a very familiar fate. Originally our version of this ship, our journey was charted for Glacium.
This captain had done the same only to be met with a black hole. We found ourselves in a similar situation but had used the black hole as a "tether pole" to jump as if it were a worm hole into a new galaxy, a new home.
Most of us were safe. Some traumatized, others injured but our objective had become clear. We were bringing back a "god object", an object of power if you will that would supply the energy we needed.
It was thanks to a veteran member of our team that we came to this conclusion, and is the very much the one we are wishing to save to this day.
Maybe some day this family can be reunited once more, only to have our happy ending.
These next few weeks to succeed, otherwise this wi-

After some debate and some "less" then ideal voting logistics with the involvement of a spinner?
Skue and Penguin had been chosen as our new captain and first officer respectively. It had marked a new chapter in that era with many of us sharing our praise and new found bonds within the established crew.
It was time to chart for home.
Starbreaker Mission - Descent to the Stars β
Progress had been going smoothly thus far after we luanched, many of us tending to card games and some of us even showing our talents to the fellow crew members. With Ice designing banners and works of art for the team and Penguin sharing their treasured and beloved wolf pack with the crew. It was natural as a form of welcome in their species but it a warm welcome regardless.
Shiny and Fiery got together and built the basics of a medical lab as they had only had been working out of their respective quarters/bedrooms as workplaces for the time being.
The lab was equip with a waiting area, an MRI, spectrum analyzers and Skue kindly pitching in building a soul scanner.
It was an overall success and with some minor hiccups and an odd case with one of our cybernetic crew members going through a short moment of relapse and minor PTSD... poor Zock.
Oddly enough they don't remember any of the experience but it seemed they also had a similar memory or connection potentially? Any how, the name of the mysterious captain had been revealed to be "James" and the mob species being a wolf. None of us were exactly were familiar with this individual but as Zock was speaking after some embarrasing mistakes by Fiery's sister in translating, they had known themselves as an individual named "Jonah" so it was clear we were dealing with another Astralith so we had that confirmed for us, the ship was a Federation class vessal afterall so it didn't come to a grave surprise.
After some re-wiring and another trip through the MRI we got Zock back, our version of him atleast.
Just before we decided to end of the day Skue suggested we take turns in the soul scanner, as Iora wasn't at the best of health we collectively agreed we should spend sometime testing it before we let her go through as being an Allay meant her form was considered "pure soul" which would very much overload the device.
Everything had been going as planned so far. Well it was until it was Fiery is turn, the machine had no difficulties but couldn't read any contents either. Not that there was no soul present but the machine was confused and the crew even more so.
With all of us in relatively equal confusion we decided to take this as a good opportunity to test the soul scanner is limitations however, this time it would be put on a higher setting.
The results came out normal so we all just assumed it was a simple "fluke" the first time around. It was more magic then technology and given how many of us were using it, this was bound to happen eventually.
However, no more then 5 seconds later after Fiery stepped out. The machine continued to scan with Skue, Fiery and Shiny sharing a similar look of confusion that very quickly shifted to horror. From collegues examinations showing that something/someone potentially else co-exists within this body as the soul scanner despite running empty detected a secondary soul present in the same subject.
After a minor panic attack it was decided that Fiery was to be banned from the soul scanner for their own safety. Enough data had been collected with the device is success but despite all the findings Iora still managed to overpower the soul scanner being unable to give any clear figure.
On the way the crew had suffered a warp drive failure on two accounts, the first was a dark matter anomaly which showed no signs of budging despite the reappearance of famaliar alien going by the name Ova or Avo from time to time is advanced tools having no effect.
When all hope was lost, Momentums pitched that since he was part enderman that he could in theory and I quote "eat it" weirdly enough. Without questioning his methods Momentums was allowed to go near the anomaly and proceeded to get rid of, only four shards remained that were very swifly ejected out the nearest airlock.
The second time however was a more comforting one, the Starbreaker had been pulled out of warp jump by a Federation ship classed as the V.S.S Starskipper, apparently they too had been tracing our trail but not to shoot us down but rather peacefully.
They actually had been looking for one of their captains, Zock for that matter. It was only right for Zock to make their decision in their matter and what they found most comforting. After some decision making and elaboration with the V.S.S Starskipper pilot it became apparent that it was time for a shift in pathways for Zock to return with his people.
Honorable to his manors he offered his Seaskipper crew (that he was also the captain of) if they wished to join him with Fly, Momentums and Shiny all in agreement to take on this new adventure.
The Starbreaker crew gave their fair share of goodbye's and honorable remarks to the brave crew members and family they knew boarding the Starskipper. In addition as Shiny was getting ready to board the new vessal as Fiery and Marx were helping him pack his things, Zock added that they will be seeing eachother again as he waved. Fish lended his jetpack to Zock to safely get across and having it sent back with Fish and Fiery returning the same remarks, wish to see you again.
Fiery being the only high ranking individual left currently awake on the Starbreaker with Skue in soul stasis to recovery his energy from the dark matter leaks and Penguin getting some rest.
Things swifly became hard to manage with plenty of emotions going around, but it was clear. Their objective needed to be complete, Fiery gave his orders to the Starbreaker to relay a signal to Zock's ship that they will be doing synchronized warp jumps with V.S.S Starskipper taking the lead as it was equipt as an advanced scout ship and Starbreaker following behind.
The trip was short but memorable, many of which getting some rest and warm memories were had. Despite the inter-galatic diaster that was the dark matter missile on the Management occupied planet, the crew had missed it with the time they had to bound together. But nothing was better then the sweet embrace of going home.
Appearance β
Fiery uses a set of goggles and a coat. This is may appear at first just to seem be a professional suit he wears in public but the truth behind it is the radiation from the "accident" has left coral burn marks. Not to be confused with magic but a form of erosion that is splashed on the body to linger, this provides both some of their traits and an often burning sensation so the suit provides to cover all of this so he can feel a bit more comfortable to so call "mask" his issues.
